Narrative description of project:
The overall objective of the project was to build Central Medical Stores-Sudan (CMS) staff capacity on international pharmaceutical procurement. A 5-day-face-to-face training was provided to staff from CMS and its partners. After the training, participants acquired understanding, skills and confidence in international pharmaceutical procurement, plus a complete manual and CD-ROM with all presentations and distributed documents. Participants who successfully concluded the course obtained certificates. After the success of this training the door opened for further discussions on opportunities for cooperation in setting up and maintaining a regional training centre at CMS-Sudan.
