Narrative description of project:
The purpose of this technical assistance is to follow and complement the Haiti network study proposed by USAID, and to provide the design and layout for the warehouse or warehouses that will support the supply chain model that is selected as a result of the network analysis.
USAID embarked on a three-step approach to assist the government of Haiti in developing a government owned Procurement Supply Management system. They had engaged Llamasoft, an American consultancy company, to develop an optimal storage and distribution system taking in to account future health product turnover in the public sector. Based on the outcomes of this study, the expert was to develop a cahier de charge for a national warehouse. The third step is that USAID architects will use these specifications to draw plans.
