Narrative description of project:
The project “Improving Access to Affordable Medicines in Public Hospitals” of the Ministry of Health of Mongolia (MOH) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) was approved in October 2015, it officially started in February 1, 2016 and plans to end in October 2018. The main problems identified are: high prices, poor quality and low availability of essential medicines in public hospitals and aimags.
