Marianne Moussallem, MA Public Health with specialization in epidemiology and biostatistics

  • Public Health Professional with a background in dentistry and public health.  

  • Holds a Master's degree in public health with a specialization in epidemiology and biostatistics from the University of Paris Saclay.  

  • Formerly employed by the Ministry of Public Health in Lebanon.   

  • Currently a researcher and instructor at Saint-Joseph University of Beirut, teaching epidemiology and biostatistics.  

  • Proficient in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.  

  • Has worked on consultancies across the MENA region and internationally.  

  • Contributed to research projects and consultancies focused on addressing health challenges in fragile, conflict-affected, and humanitarian settings, including health system strengthening, health financing, and thematic areas such as non-communicable diseases (NCDs), infectious disease outbreak management, and sexual and reproductive health (SRH), with a focus on key populations.  

  • Authored numerous reports and peer-reviewed publications.  

  • Native Arabic speaker, fluent in English and French.
