hera supports EU-funded program to reduce Maternal and Child Mortality in Guinea Bissau
hera provided technical assistance and monitoring for the PIMI II program in Guinea Bissau. The programme was financed by the European Commission with an aim of reducing maternal, neonatal, and infant-juvenile mortality rates across all health regions of the country. Over a span of four years, the hera team worked to improve access to quality healthcare for pregnant women and children under five. Through meetings with stakeholders, visits to healthcare facilities, and collaborations with implementing partners, hera supported the successful implementation of the programme. These efforts have included the development of a project plan, presentation of observations and results, and the organization of steering committee meetings.
